We had the most amazing 2 week holiday at Villa Emmelia! The Villa is amaizng and Gina had really thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. The kids loved the pool and some days we didn’t leave the Villa at all.
Gina is the most fantastic host! Always on hand to help / offer advice and share useful information. Shes really though of everything and even brought us a traditional Greek breakfast one morning – it was delish!
The location is wonderful! Picturesque and idyllic and quiet! Eretria has so much to offer and is only a short 5 mins drive down the hill. You would need a car though as the Villa is quite secluded and we didn’t see many taxis.
We will certainly be going back to see Gina and to stay at the Villa! It was the most wonderful holiday! Thank you Gina!

Wow, wow and wow! If you think the pictures look good, wait until you arrive….incredible. Gina was a fantastic host and has kitted out the villa with everything you could possibly need for your stay and more.

It’s true, you don’t need to leave the villa! Amazing villa, amazing host, amazing views what else there to say! Gina is a fantastic host. Her attention to details is second to none. She has thought of every detail so that your stay in her villa is relaxing and unspoilt. Would recommend Gina’s villa with no hesitation.

A splendid house that exceeded our expectations. Photos cannot do justice to the view! Gina is indeed a super host and helped us solve all the extra hurdles like early starts and printing Covid tests and passenger locator forms. Eretria (and what we saw of the Island) is delightful and feels unspoilt by mass tourism.

This was a last minute booking and we are so pleased we made the effort! We didn’t fully appreciate the house/facilities until we arrived and were blown away by how pristine and thoughtfully put together everything was. Gina was incredibly helpful and accommodated our horribly early arrival – 0400 (and departure) with grace! It also has one of the best pools we have ever had the pleasure of using and would recommend 100%!

Un séjour inoubliable à la villa Emmelia à Eretria chez Gina. La maison offre differents espaces de vie et permet ainsi de s’y sentir très à l’aise à 10, elle est très pratique et extrêmement bien équipée, on est reçu comme à l’hôtel. La cuisine est mieux équipée que chez nous 😜. Et la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos ! Gina est une hôte parfaite: accueillante et attachante. Toujours disponible et aux petits soins: nous avons été très gâtés ! Merci pour tout. La vue est incroyable, les terrasses sont immenses et les grands bains de soleil invitent à la détente. On se retrouve en toute intimité au milieu de la nature, avec au réveil les cigales et les brebis toutes proches et le soir des couchers de soleil magiques sur la baie. L’île d’Eubée est encore très préservée du tourisme, les restaurants y sont donc authentiques et on y mange très bien avec un rapport qualité prix au top. Les recommandations données par Gina permettent de sillonner et de découvrir des endroits sympathiques. Nous recommandons kalamos beach, Alykes beach et agio apostoli. La visite d’Athènes à 1h15 permet de se plonger dans l’effervescence d’une ville incroyable et on est ravis de retrouver le calme de la petite ville d’eretria en rentrant. La maison est parfaite pour des vacances, en famille ou entre amis, reposantes, bien loin de la foule et de la « jet set ». Nous garderons un super souvenir de cette maison et de ces vacances. Le plus difficile en fait …. est de partir 🙂 😜! Merci pour tout Gina et au plaisir de vous revoir.

What an amazing villa! It is spacious, picturesque, luxurious and packed with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Excellent amenities, a first aid kit, a pizza oven and BBQ facilities, a brilliant pool… the list just goes on. The local area is pretty and not overly touristy. The town is a 5 minute drive away with restaurants lining the beach. There is loads of things to do outside of the villa; bike riding, boat trips, wine tours etc etc. Although we were so enchanted by the villa that we barely wanted to leave! Gina is an absolutely superb host. Communicate was prompt, consistent and helpful all the way throughout. Gina was extremely informative; she provides her own list of recommendations for activities outside of the villa and is happy to help you book any of these activities. Likewise, she is always on hand to help with taxi’s and anything at all you need. Gina really does go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. She greeted us with ice cream, brought us a local dessert during our stay and even gave us a parting gift. I can 100% recommend to stay here. Without a doubt you will thoroughly enjoy your stay.

We were 2 families stayed at Gina’s over a long weekend in early June. The house was marvelous and very well designed. There were construction and stylish details that made the difference. Same for available equipment and cleaning level. Gina, our host, was the driving force behind all the above. A super host. who had taken care of everything. We will defiantly include this place in our future plans.

By far our best travel experience! Stunning views, absolutely ideal location to have privacy, still though everything is conveniently close by. The villa is fantastic, much better than the photos, really homely feel and thoughtful sweet touches, had everything we needed, impressive architecture. Dimitris and Gina were amazing hosts, very responsive and supremely helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with breathtaking view, a big crystal clear pool, and a stylish place in the countryside, then this is your place!

A villa that lives up to expectations and beyond! Located in an incredible area, surrounded with olive trees, a calming place, perfect if you want to relax and have privacy. The view is just breathtaking and we spent hours by the fantastic pool, the villa is beautiful and spacious (much better than pics) and equipped with everything we needed. Gina and Dimitris were great, absolutely love hosting, very responsive and helpful, made us feel like home. This villa is a gem beyond belief, don’t miss it!

Breathtaking views, the villa is at a perfect location, very well designed, every little detail is perfectly thought out, the space couldn’t be more perfect and you can’t get enough of the big crystal clear pool. Gina is a fantastic host, so helpful and prompt. We had a wonderful stay and we are already planning our next trip back.

More than we could ask for. Our experience from staying in Villa Emmelia was unique. We were a group of friends – four adults, and we all left having the same beautiful feelings. The villa is located on a hill with wide open view to the sea, while laying by the pool. Internally, the rooms are spacious, fully equipped and elegantly decorated. All amenities as described were present and fully functional. During our stay in Gina’s house we found ourselves mostly around the pool area and the fantastic barbecue place. On top of the exquisite villa, our host Gina helped us make our stay even better. She was very kind and very willing to provide as many info regarding the villa and also nearby places we could visit for sightseeing or for finding quality food. Being experienced after staying in many properties using AirBnB platform, I totally recommend the place as it provides everything a visitor could ask, as well as Gina for being an exemplary host.

Heaven on earth! Much much better than the pictures! Ideal location, stunning views, peaceful surroundings, awesome big pool, high quality equipment, stylish, spotlessly clean, you can hardly leave this villa. Absolutely worth the money. Gina had thought of everything, she is a superb host. Definitely we’ll go back again soon!

Gina’s home is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The surroundings are so peaceful and it is difficult to tear yourself away from the incredible swimming pool. Our kids swam round the clock! Gina was the epitome of a great hostess — she was so responsive and helpful at all times. She kindly stocked the kitchen with lovely treats and made us feel very much at home. Her map of recommended places was so helpful. We stayed with our 3 children and another family and the house was spacious and comfortable for us all. If you are looking to stay somewhere quiet in Evia with a breathtaking view, this place is wonderful.

Gina is the most wonderful host, she really is lovely and very thoughtful, incredibly helpful but not at all intrusive. The villa is exceptional, beautifully contemporary and very comfortable. Gina has thought of everything to make a stay in this villa a great experience, the pool and outside amenities are outstanding. Great for families or friends – would highly recommend if you would like to go to this island.

We stayed as a big family, and the house was even better than the pictures. We used the pool, pizzaoven, grill, games, football and ping pong table and had great cocktails with stunning views. The small village provided beach trip, village party, wine tasting and grocery shoppimg. Fantastic place worth the price!

Gina’s villa is incredible. Gina is such an amazing host, she is so thoughtful and kind. The outside area of the villa was wonderful, there is a pizza oven, BBQ, big pool, table tennis and fairy tree. There are also lots of herbs and plants in the surroundings. From the pool area you look out onto the sea. The town is really nice, there are lots of nice restaurants and places to drink. The local people are very friendly and hospitable. We hired cars which were very useful to go into town and also to the super market. The inside of the villa is also magnificent, very clean and a lovely design. We went on holiday as a group of friends and everyone loved it 🙂

A beautiful house located on a hill with wonderful views of the Euboean bay. The very well thought out layout made it easy for all guests to access the swimming pool which is the main focal point of the property. There are several shaded areas around the perimeter of the house allowing us to spend a lot of time outdoors swimming or playing ping pong. The house is well equipped with all the things a guest might need from coffee and snacks to binoculars and pool towels. Gina was thorough at explaining all areas of the house and how to operate the appliances. She was very responsive in our communications and sent us several recommendations before the trip. Overall, a great hostess that gave us privacy while enjoying her house.

This was BY FAR THE BEST Airbnb-Experience I ever had (and I had quite a lot)! We’ve been traveling to Villa Emmelia with a group of 10 friends. Gina is the perfect host, very reliable, giving quick responses, extremely kind and respectful, always ready to help (and also has a great sense of humor)! Her beautiful place is even much better then it looks on the pictures. It is 100% clean and tidy and I I’m very particular when it comes to cleanliness. You won’t find a spot anywhere, bathroom and bedrooms are perfectly prepared. Not to mention the kitchen, which is also spotless and the best equipped kitchen I ever cooked in, we loved it! One of the things we loved most is the location: Very quiet, on a small road in the middle of olive tree hills. While swimming in the (also perfectly clean) pool, you look down to the ocean, it’s amazing. Almost every evening we had huge delicious barbecues at the grill and enjoyed the sky full of stars while having a drink. We were all very sad to leave this place, we had an amazing week and are definitely coming back one day! Thank you again, Gina 🙂

The housse was fantastic . We were a group of 9 adults and 2 babies and we had plenty of space . The view and the pool are so great that you don’t want to leave the housse. Gina is so kind and helpful ! I really hope to come back another time but much longer 😉

We loved staying in Gina’s home it truly is beautiful and one of the loveliest villas we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and Gina had thought of everything. The pool water was like crystal with plenty of sitting and relaxing areas to choose from – we will go back. Gina could not have been more helpful and attentive – simply a lovely lady. Fantastic house with very high standard and outstanding view

This house was fantastic. Our host was very careful to show us all of the features and details of the house and property. It is by far the most modern and well designed house in the area. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and it was equipped with great appliances, kitchen accessories and tools. We enjoyed several meals on the outdoor deck with a fantastic view of the village and sea below. The pool was a captivating centerpiece and again state of the art. We spent hours in and around the pool. I would recommend this property to anyone seeking the combination of rural surroundings in a state of the art , estate with unmatched views of the mountains and the water. We will definitely stay again.

Breathtaking views, outstanding host, excellent villa! What really stood out was how friendly Gina and her son are and the small touches that made our stay even better – like baby trampolines and sterilizer (!), juicer and every single thing a kitchen could want. Lots and lots and lots of space inside and out to explore, eat, hang out. Gina responded so fast to messages and our stay was a most memorable family holiday. Thank you Gina!

We stayed at villa Emmelia during our family vacation. We stayed 7 days at the villa, 3 Families (5 adults and 5 kids between the ages of 4 and 14 years old). We had a great holiday in a beautiful, indulging, highly maintained house. The house is even better than the pictures, the view of the sea is stunning, you are surrounded by beautiful trees and the highly maintained garden is beautiful. The pool and the pool area is big and we spent hours by the pool with the kids. Its about 10 minutes drive to the beach (you mast have a car in the island). Gina thought of all the little things that can make a vacation perfect, the house is highly maintained, the rooms are big and beautiful, the bathrooms are very clean with high-end equipment, the leaving room and dining areas are big and . comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with a very high standard appliances (with a new Nespresso machine). And above all these is Gina, the perfect host! Prior to our vacation she was available to answer all my questions (and I had many) about the house and the island, during our vacation she was available, attentive and hospitable, caring about any little question/request that we had. I highly recommend the villa for a family vacation.

Great holiday in a nice and perfectly maintained house. The view is stunning, peacefulness is surrounding you, the pool is a daily enjoyment. The most difficult is probably to convince yourself to get out of the nest to visit the surroundings. Gina is a great host who pays attention to her tenant by preparing her house to the highest quality standards, with her son she is also welcoming and enthusiastic.

Gina was fantastic from when I first got in touch to when we drove out the house. She was so attentive and hospitable that it really made the holiday. The house was incredible – somehow better than the photos!! The view and the pool were highlights, but every little thing was thought of and we were wanting for nothing. We loved every second.

Our expectations were high and the communication we had, with Gina, before arrival made us feel very safe. When we drove up to the house it was even better than we thought! The standard of the house and the service Gina gave us all week made our vacation. We had children between the ages of 1,5 and 6 years old and she provided us with everything that they needed and what us parents needed to relax and have a good time. The house has no limits for what you want to do with your weeks as in work out, cook/make pizza in the outdoor kitchen and long nights watching the stars. We all liked the pool aria so much so we did not leave the house that often but the little town Eretria offered lots of things (all info about that, you can find at the house) Over all its a trip to remember and we will all go back again, together or to show our friends and family. Highly recommended, we would easily add another five stars if it was possible 🙂

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich der Wahnsinn! Es wird noch besser, als auf den Bildern – versprochen! Alles ist sauber, die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und die Lage ist sehr gut. Man ist wirklich ungestört in diesem Haus, hat einen riesen Pool und eine tolle Aussicht! Gina ist unglaublich gastfreundlich und hat uns immer wieder positiv überrascht. Mal waren es 2 Flaschen Wein, mal ein griechisches Dessert. Ein riesen Vorteil: Ihr erhaltet eine Maps Karte mit den besten Empfehlungen für Supermärkte, Strände, Ärzte, Sehenswürdigkeiten, usw. Hier spart man sich eine Menge Zeit! Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen – es ist das Geld wert 🙂
