The house of the Greek hero from Chios, Konstantinos Kanaris, is now a protected work of art as the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism.
The building is situated near the port of the city and now visitors of Eretria can observe where the great hero of the 1821 Revolution had lived until 1877.
